An introduction to Private Practice as a Counsellor or Psychotherapist.
Aims
This 1 day CPD will encourage you to consider if Private Practice is the right choice for you; the reasons why; and how to launch a successful private practice.
Learning Outcomes
- You will investigate the key questions and considerations before embarking on Private Practice
- You will critically assess the options of how to market and run a Private Practice, whilst exploring your unique offerings
- You will evaluate how to work ethically and safely in Private Practice
Course Structure
This will be an interactive and experiential based learning day.
Facilitator’s Biography
Susie is a Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Psychotherapy trainer. Her graduate training was in marketing and she had a successful sales & marketing career for over 15 years before starting training in Transactional Analysis in 2007. Susie runs a thriving practice in Manchester where she works with individuals, couples, families and psychotherapy groups. She is a Primary Course tutor on the Transactional Analysis training programme at Physis Scotland and Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy. She has a particular interest in working with those touched by adoption and family systems work.
